Classic Dinghy Classes Invitation Weekend

Saturday 12 to Sunday 13 November 2022 inclusive. The organising authority for this regatta is the Cairn Curran Sailing Club Inc. in conjunction with the Australian Classic Dinghy Network and is open to all classic classes.

An annual event for classic sailing dinghy classes built from any construction material - planks, plywood or fibreglass. The emphasis is on classic classes, wooden boats of either planks or plywood are of course also very welcome.


Cairn Curran is well situated for participants from Victoria, South Australia, NSW and the ACT.

It has flat water ideally suited for classic dinghies, a huge range of accommodation from lakeside camping to historic B&B’s, and a lawn area for rigging.

Situated in the centre of the Goldfields - close to Maldon, Daylesford, Hepburn Springs, Castlemaine and other famous picturesque historic towns - it’s a great venue for anyone coming along with participants not that interested in sailing or listening to sailors talking endlessly about sailing.
